We've been passing this little hat around between me and the girls, each putting our stitches on it. It's the umbilical hat pattern from Stitch n Bitch.
I just last night finished my blanket. This pattern is the Linus blanket from Knitting for Peace. I'm pleased with how it turned out. I began knitting this at the beginning of my second trimester, as I was just beginning to feel excited and hopeful about our baby on the way. And this coming week I'll begin my 3rd trimester. Now we know she is a little girl and we have chosen a name for her. My belly is big and round. I feel her movements and the girls and Rob eagerly touch my belly to feel her little kicks. We are all so excited to meet her and welcome her to our family. Next on my needles for baby is Saartje's booties.

I am pregnant and due in a week and a half. I never comment here but I wanted to say congratulations : )
It is nice to have your blog and the "along the crooked path" blog to follow. Take care!
