What we've been up to this past month...
We tried our hand at fishing. The girls had lots and lots of fun, but nobody caught anything.
We watched the cross-country portion of the Red Hills Horse Trials, accompanied by Grandpa B and Miss T. Oh, how these girls love horses! The breathe horses, dream horses, read horses, write stories about horses and on and on...Alybug and Em are enjoying reading the Pony Pals book series by Jeanne Betancourt. Monday (our riding lesson day) is the most anticipated activity of our week.
Lots and lots of sock knitting. I did finish three pairs of these in time for putting them in easter baskets this morning.
We've been up in trees, running in fields and exploring creeks with friends, enjoying singing class and our art co-op. We've still found some time for lessons and spring crafting. Rhythm of the Home has been a fun new resource for me for crafting ideas. Francis of Assisi is the sage we're working with right now. We're continuing our work with place value in math. I've got another monthish until our new little baby girl will be joining our family on the outside. So I am slowing down. We did learn last week that I can still manage a bike ride, big belly and all.
Ending with a couple Easter photos...
