happy 8th birthday

My, where has this time gone? It seems just yesterday my girls were toddling around, and now they're 8 years old. Here are a couple photos from our party yesterday. Last year, they both said was the best birthday ever. This year, they both said the same thing. Wow.

I feel so fortunate to be mama to these amazingly thoughtful, wise, and strong girls. The way they see the world and the way they love life inspires and challenges me. Since I was a girl myself, I have dreamed of being a mommy, but never in my dreams, was it this wonderful, this big, this fulfilling.
