embracing the heat

Whew, it's a hot summer. I know it's always hot and humid for us in July, but this summer seems unusually so. The girls have a good attitude about it. We get out early in the day, and we often swim in the afternoons. But even the pool is getting too warm to be called refreshing. Ugh. Last Sunday morning the girls talked Rob and me into a trip to the Greenway. Tree climbing, kite flying, a little knitting for me, and lots and lots of drinking water. I do love the Greenway, but I think I need some cool weather before I'll be ready to go back. And that's months from now...
